FOOL: If thou wert my Fool, nuncle, I’d have thee beaten for being old before thy time.
LEAR: How’s that?
FOOL: Thou shouldst not have been old till thou hadst been wise.

An exchange from King Lear, not one of my favorite Shakespeare plays, but this is one of my favorite segments. The fool, as usual, has a point; what’s kingliness and age gotten this guy?
